Excellent location, easy access to everything. Good wifi, free and easy to connect. Helpful staff. Clean and warm bathroom. Close to city center, metro station, and Gran Via. Abundance of restaurants, bars, cafeterias, and grocery shops nearby.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Clean and recently renovated hostal. Excellent location, close Noviciado metro station and within walking distance of chueca and gran via. Wifi was available with strong signal and good speed, the air conditioning was good when it worked, when it stopped we asked the recepcionist and he would turn it on (strange ..).
There was some lack noise proofing specialy between the rooms, sometimes you could hear a toilet being flushed for example, but nothing really significant. The rooms not facing the noviciado street (like mine) are probably much more quiet then the others, as the street has a lot of traffic!

Really nice rooms, good atmosphere and place (really near to the center, not noisy). We appreciated the possibility to leave our bags in the luggage room after our check-out without any fee.
There was no air-conditioning, only a cooling fan, and unfortunately it was 45°c those days, so in the room it was quite hot.

It is near from san bernardo and gran via.
It is too too small. Service is too too poor. The working persons don't understand English. No air condition. No windows looking to the street.

Had a small but clean room, which was comfortable and welcoming.
There is a metro stop outside the hotel door (Noviciado) which is ideal if you don't feel like walking around, however, the building shakes whenever the metro passes by, that is approx every 5 mins. It did not bother me at all but it's good to know.

Localization. Central, near of the most important places of Madrid. It has a metro station at the door and has a lot of shops in the street.
The isolation of the rooms is weak and we can ear the other clients, but it wasn´t disturbing.

Comfortable stay with a cozy room and a nice little balcony. The central location made it convenient to explore the city. However, the street noise could be a slight issue in the mornings. The staff, though they spoke only Spanish, were helpful and the airport transfer was cheap and convenient. I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

Located in an ideal spot, this hostel is just a stone's throw away from the city center. With excellent public transport links, including the Noviciado metro station right next door, it makes exploring the city a breeze. Additionally, guests can enjoy the convenience of having a bakery downstairs, perfect for grabbing a quick bite before heading out for the day.
Sadly, noise disturbances were reported, which affected the quality of sleep for some guests.

Excellent central location, close to metro stations. Weak internet, but hot water available. OK rooms for a short stay. Nearby cafes and shops provide breakfast options. Friendly staff, although language barrier. Nice area with restaurants and attractions within walking distance. 24-hour coffee shop a great perk. Elevator makes carrying luggage easy.

I stayed at Hostal Noviciado for a night and it was perfect for my budget travel. The room had modern graphics and a well-organized bathroom with a great shower. The cleanliness was impressive and the location was ideal, being close to the Noviciado metro station and Plaza de Espana. The staff were lovely and despite the language barrier, they made an effort to communicate. The building also had a lift, which was convenient.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location in the heart of the city, just a short walk to Gran Via. I found numerous cafes nearby that offered delicious breakfast options. The room, although not excellent, was suitable for a short stay in Madrid. The helpful staff tried their best to meet our needs, despite the language barrier. I would recommend this hotel for budget travelers.
